About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role involves executing full life cycle activities in support of various DevSecOps tools, focusing on the design and implementation of applications using EKS and AWS best practices. The position requires collaboration with architects and engineers to build roadmaps, conduct code reviews, and automate processes, ensuring milestones are met and documentation is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with architect, principal and lead engineer, and other team members on design and implement tasks.
• Plan and build roadmaps for the EKS and AWS DevOps Implementation.
• Build Applications with EKS and AWS best practices.
• Accountable for meeting milestones.
• Conduct code review, unit and integration testing.
• Document system design and unit testing information.
• Automation of manual steps.

Requirements

• Hands on with EKS and AWS.
• Hands on with Python, Shell scripting.
• Have hands on skills with Cloudbees, BitBucket, Sonar, Artifactory, CloudNative Practices.
• Outstanding knowledge in Continuous Integration (CI), Testing (CT), Security and deployment (CD) concepts.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Apply engineering principles to improve resiliency, performance, efficiency and scalability of the DevSecOps eco system.
• Find opportunities and build automation to reduce team interdependency.
• Linux administration.
• Windows administration.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Self-starter and quick learner.
