About the position

The Software / DevSecOps Engineer role focuses on integrating security practices within the software development lifecycle. The position requires a strong background in software engineering and development, with a specific emphasis on automating secure development practices and building CI/CD pipelines. The role is hybrid, based in Iselin, NJ, and is expected to last for six months.

Responsibilities

• Automate secure development practices including static/dynamic/composition analysis, secrets detection, and vulnerability management.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on workflow automation.
• Utilize tools such as SonarQube, JFrog Xray, Fortify, and Checkmarx to enhance security in the development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of development experience using Groovy, Java, C#, or Python, with a mix preferred.
• 4+ years of experience automating secure development practices.
• Hands-on experience with tools like SonarQube, JFrog Xray, Fortify, Checkmarx, and others.
• Development experience with Jenkins DSL dialect of Groovy.
