About the position

As a DevSecOps Engineer at our technology services consulting firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) software factory. This position requires a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) within cloud environments. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining production workloads, with a strong preference for experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. In this hybrid role, you will work both remotely and onsite, so it is essential that candidates are local to the San Antonio area to meet onsite requirements. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team that includes government clients, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering a badgeless collaborative environment. Your expertise in building and maintaining automated pipelines for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), process automation, and data processing tasks will be vital to the success of our projects. Additionally, you will utilize your skills in scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage infrastructure provisioning and management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline, along with a minimum of three years of experience in an Agile delivery environment. Desired certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) will be advantageous in this role.
