About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role at INSPYR Solutions focuses on enhancing the security posture of the organization through offensive security practices, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve systems and tooling used by the Offensive Security team.
• Conduct technical penetration tests against a variety of technologies including Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Cloud components.
• Engage in collaborative Purple Team activities with defensive security teams and control owners.
• Support Compliance and Risk teams by providing technical consulting and assessment of controls, systems, and policy configurations.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Strong engineering and development background with familiarity in DevSecOps deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Extensive experience in network security technologies, applications, and appliances.
• Background in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment/management, including remediation advice.
• Experience in validating the effectiveness of security controls through manual and automated means.
• Relevant security certifications for the role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in technical report writing for various business levels.
