About the position

CGI Federal is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to provide technical administration and production support for an ongoing case management project. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to collaborate with the team and clients, focusing on operational support and system issue resolution. The position is based in Lafayette, LA, with a hybrid working model acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide production and non-production environment support during normal shift hours and occasional off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Coordinate with clients and support contractors on various administrative and operational tasks.
• Offer operational support and further development of multiple application environments.
• Support development teams during Sprints and release cycles, managing deployments and the DevSecOps toolset.
• Develop and maintain the operational environment, including cloud-based DevSecOps tools, scripting, and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based operational environments and security awareness.
• Ability to problem-solve in stressful situations and communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS certification(s) and/or relevant experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and pipelines.
• Splunk certification(s) and/or relevant experience.
