About the position

CGI Federal is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to provide technical administration and production support for an ongoing case management project. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to collaborate with the team and clients, focusing on system support and issue resolution. The position involves significant operational support and administrative tasks, with a hybrid working model available.

Responsibilities

• Provide production and non-production environment support during normal shift hours and occasional off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Coordinate with clients and other support contractors on various administrative and operational aspects.
• Offer operational support and further development of multiple application environments.
• Support development teams during Sprints and release cycles, managing deployments and the DevSecOps toolset.
• Develop and maintain the operational environment, including cloud-based DevSecOps tools, scripting, and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and operational environments.
• Ability to problem-solve in stressful and critical situations.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS certification(s) and/or relevant experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and pipelines.
• Splunk certification(s) and/or relevant experience.
