About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role focuses on integrating security practices within the DevOps process. This position is responsible for ensuring that security is a fundamental part of the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and operations. The engineer will work with various programming languages and cloud services to develop secure applications and maintain the integrity of the systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security practices into the DevOps process.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure applications using Java, React, and Python.
• Implement and manage microservices and Web services.
• Develop and operate Web APIs, including RESTful and JSON services.
• Utilize cloud computing solutions, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Manage delivery pipelines and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• Experience with programming languages such as Java, React, and Python.
• Proficiency in Java architecture, design, and development.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate or equivalent frameworks.
• Knowledge of middle tier, microservices, and Web services design and operations.
• Experience with Web APIs, including RESTful or JSON design and development.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and open source solutions.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and delivery pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
