About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer at PruTech is responsible for providing support to the rates, commodities, and Credit Derivatives Team within Capital Markets. This role involves architecting, building, and maintaining a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) framework for both existing and new software applications. The focus is on creating a self-service system while also providing traditional production support for pipeline platforms and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide DevSecOps support for the rates, commodities, and Credit Derivatives Team.
  • Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD framework services for software applications.
  • Create a self-service system and bootstrap teaching for users.
  • Provide traditional production support for pipeline platforms and frameworks.
  • Automate and streamline software delivery and operations for software applications.
  • Utilize vendor tools in the DevOps lifecycle including Infrastructure as Code, Agile, and Development Lifecycle Management.
  • Manage Source Code, Build Orchestration, and Artifact Repository Management.
  • Implement Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development practices.
  • Conduct various types of automated testing including Unit, Integration, Functional, Smoke, Regression, Stress, and Performance Testing.
  • Perform Static Code Analysis and Load Testing.
  • Manage Database Schema, Orchestration, and Recovery.
  • Implement Compliance Automation and Audit Trails.
  • Oversee Configuration Management and Application Release Automation.
  • Develop Deployment Strategies including Blue/Green Deployment and Canary Releases.
  • Monitor Logging and Log Analytics, and Performance Management.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Capital Markets domain, specifically in the sales and trading lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of trading system design, architecture, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with Sales, Trading, Quantitative Analytics, Market Risk, Credit, Finance, and Compliance.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Java, Gitlab, Artifactory, and Maven.
  • Experience with Calypso is a plus.
