About the position

Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join its team in McLean, VA. This role involves providing expertise in configuring and maintaining DevSecOps tools in a government cloud environment, supporting federal agencies worldwide. The engineer will work on CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and ensure the stable operation of software systems and network connections.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain DevSecOps tools in a Gov Cloud environment.
  • Develop and utilize CI/CD pipelines to promote developer code across environments.
  • Configure and maintain DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
  • Implement and support platforms for containerized applications using AWS managed services such as EKS.
  • Ensure stable operation of in-house computer software systems and network connections.
  • Analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues; provide end user training.
  • Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
  • Provide local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at multiple locations.
  • Perform vulnerability management and apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in Information Processing, with six years in specialized disciplines involving hardware/software solutions.
  • Four (4) years of hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
  • Two (2) years of direct support of DevSecOps environments.
  • Experience supporting containerized workloads in AWS.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development lifecycle.
  • Basic understanding of networking setup.
  • Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and log searching.
  • Understanding of metrics, monitoring, alarming, and dashboarding concepts.
