About the position

The position involves working as a DevSecOps Engineer at DTCC, focusing on engineering design, operations, security, and automation development within a hybrid work model. The role is integral to supporting innovative technologies that empower financial markets, with responsibilities spanning solution design, build engineering, security engineering, and support services.

Responsibilities

• Drive L3-4 Engineering Design, Build, Operations, Security, and Automation Development.
• Engage in Solution Engineering and Tool Platform Operational Architecture Design.
• Manage Lifecycle Engineering including Roadmap Upgrades, Patches, Bug Fixes, and Infrastructure Operational Stability.
• Administer Linux systems and tools, including monitoring and alerting.
• Conduct compliance, security, and audit-related activities as part of Security Engineering.
• Provide L3/L4 Tools and Pipelines Support, including on-call support 24/7.
• Consult on Integration Engineering and Development efforts for IT Internal/External Requests.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of diverse work experience in a DevOps Platform Engineering with Development Disciplines in a high pace Production Environment.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Expertise in Red Hat Linux 8 and container technologies like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Middleware and J2EE technologies such as Tomcat, Java, and Groovy.
• Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and Aurora.
• Proficiency in automation infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Ansible, Chef, Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python and Groovy.
• Knowledge of CI/CD development using Jenkins pipelines with Groovy.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Fortify, SonarQube, and Nexus.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of 6 years of diverse work experience in a DevSecOps Platform Engineering role.
• Strong scripting/application development experience in Java, Groovy, Python, or similar modern languages.
