About the position

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This role is pivotal in facilitating program-level software development processes and ensuring effective program execution. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for managing risks, escalating impediments, and enabling continuous improvement within the Agile framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and will be instrumental in establishing Product Increments, Release Planning Events (RPEs), and the Sprint Calendar for the Release Train. In this position, you will facilitate Product Increments Planning and lead program-level ceremonies, ensuring that Agile Release Trains (ARTs) continuously improve their value delivery. You will aggregate Product Increments and Sprint objectives, facilitating Scrum of Scrums to enhance collaboration and communication across teams. A key aspect of your role will be to fully utilize SAFe principles, identifying risks to the Product Line Project Manager for mitigation and submission to the Needs and Collection Management Engineering Board. You will also be responsible for reporting ART status to both internal and external stakeholders, driving the Release process by creating transparency through metrics that promote positive change. Additionally, you will identify and facilitate the resolution of dependencies and elevate program-level impediments to the Integrated Product Team (IPC). Assisting the Government in Feature Integration Test Coordination will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all features are integrated and tested effectively before release.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Poly required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree.
  • 6-12 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in SAFe managing release trains.
  • SAFe Certified.
