About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role at DTCC involves driving engineering design, operations, and security within a DevSecOps framework. This position focuses on enabling innovative technologies that empower financial markets, requiring collaboration with a multi-faceted team of skilled engineers. The role emphasizes solution design, build engineering, lifecycle management, and security compliance, all while supporting a diverse set of applications and technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive L3-4 Engineering Design, Build, Operations, Security, and Automation Development.
  • Provide Solution Design Services and Solution Engineering.
  • Engage in Tool Platform Operational Architecture Design and Service/Feature enhancements.
  • Manage Build Engineering and Operate Services, including lifecycle engineering and operational stability.
  • Conduct Security Engineering focusing on compliance, security, and audit activities.
  • Offer Support/Consultation Services, including L3/L4 Tools and Pipelines Support and 24/7 on-call support.
  • Facilitate Integration Engineering through consultation and development efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of diverse work experience in DevOps Platform Engineering in a high-paced production environment.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Expertise in Red Hat Linux 8 and containers (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with middleware and J2EE technologies (Tomcat, Java, Groovy).
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and Aurora.
  • Proficiency in automation infrastructure as code (IAC) using Ansible, Chef, Terraform, shell scripting, Python, or Groovy.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD development using Jenkins pipelines with Groovy.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Fortify, SonarQube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ.

  • Experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Work experience in an agile project management environment.
  • Strong scripting/application development experience in Java, Groovy, Python, or similar modern languages.
