Our client is currently seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the C2BMC DevSecOps team in developing and deploying Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation within a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. This position involves working with leading DevOps practices and tooling, including Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro. The candidate will be responsible for addressing systems administration-related issues with both hardware and software across different network environments. They will support the deployment of custom software solutions that integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), and developed software. Additionally, the candidate will propose process improvements in system administration to reduce overall maintenance requirements by collaborating with the design team and manufacturers. The role requires determining system requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration. The candidate will also identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies, developing and recommending corrective actions as necessary. Technical guidance may be provided to database administrators and software developers. Effective communication skills, including excellent writing and presentation abilities using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio, are essential. The candidate must be capable of working independently on large projects while also collaborating within a team environment alongside other DevSecOps engineers and program development and deployment teams.
