About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer at CACI will play a crucial role in establishing agile teams to modernize Navy software delivery through innovative technology solutions. This position involves participating in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on continuous improvement, and supporting national security missions by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software updates in various environments.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and support agile teams for software development.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software updates.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of software development.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and distributed systems design.
  • Implement container orchestration and automated deployment solutions.
  • Manage release processes and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship.
  • Experience with OCI containers and runtimes.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills in OS, pipeline, and networking.
  • Experience with Container Orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Open Shift.
  • Solid understanding of storage, networking, PKI, and administration.
  • Experience with Linux Administration, including shell scripting and security.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Passion for automation and continual learning.
  • Experience managing CI/CD toolchains.
  • Familiarity with git and version control best practices.
  • Software development experience.
  • Strong background with Linux Systems (RedHat and CentOS).
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (SAML, OIDC).
  • Experience with Infrastructure Automation (CloudFormation, Terraform).
