About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer at CACI will play a crucial role in modernizing Navy software delivery by establishing agile teams and building a CI/CD pipeline for software updates in various challenging environments. This position focuses on enhancing national security missions through innovative technology solutions, contributing to the development and deployment of software that supports critical defense operations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and support agile teams for software development.
  • Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline for software updates.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on quality and deployment.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and distributed systems design.
  • Implement container orchestration and automated deployment solutions.
  • Manage release processes and CI/CD automation.
  • Monitor and ensure the performance of software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Experience with OCI containers and runtimes.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills in OS, pipeline, and networking.
  • Experience with Container Orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Open Shift.
  • Solid understanding of storage, networking, PKI, and administration.
  • Experience with Linux Administration, including shell scripting and security.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Passion for automation and continuous learning.
  • Experience managing CI/CD toolchains.
  • Familiarity with git and version control best practices.
  • Software development experience.
  • Strong background with Linux Systems (RedHat/CentOS).
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (SAML, OIDC).
  • Experience with Infrastructure Automation (CloudFormation, Terraform).
