About the position

DCS Corporation is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join the F/A-18 Integrated Product Team located in Ridgecrest, CA. This position is critical in supporting the development and deployment of software solutions that enhance the operational capabilities of the F/A-18 aircraft. The ideal candidate will be responsible for devising and configuring DevOps pipelines utilizing a variety of tools including Microsoft Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, MSBuild, RedGate, Bitbucket, Docker, and NuGet, NPM. The role requires a strong understanding of both development and operational processes, ensuring that software is built and maintained effectively throughout its lifecycle. In this position, you will be tasked with building and maintaining scripts and microservices that span the full cycle of software development and operations. You will work closely with Linux Servers (specifically Red Hat), Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS to ensure that all systems are running optimally. Collaboration with developers is essential, as you will help maintain code performance standards, best practices, deployment paradigms, and versioning. Additionally, you will establish multiple deployment pipelines that target varied architectures and operating systems, ensuring that applications are deployed efficiently and securely. A key aspect of this role involves implementing Configuration Management (STIGs) into various applications, which is crucial for maintaining compliance and security standards. The DevSecOps Engineer will play a vital role in the integration of security practices within the DevOps process, ensuring that security is a fundamental part of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Devise and configure DevOps pipelines using tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, MSBuild, RedGate, Bitbucket, Docker, and NuGet, NPM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and operations.
  • Proficiency in using DevOps tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Docker, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Linux Servers (Red Hat) and Windows Server environments.
  • Strong scripting skills and experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Configuration Management practices and STIGs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms and services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
