Our client is currently seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the C2BMC DevSecOps team, focusing on the development and deployment of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and effective communication skills, as the candidate will be responsible for system administration across multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation within a DevSecOps framework for a critical customer program. The role involves working with leading DevOps practices and tools, including Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro. The candidate will address systems administration issues related to both hardware and software across various network environments. Additionally, they will support the deployment of custom software solutions that integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), and developed software. A key responsibility will be to propose process improvements in system administration to minimize maintenance requirements, collaborating closely with the design team and manufacturers. The DevSecOps Engineer will determine system requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters to ensure hardware/software compatibility and maintain system configurations. They will also identify, analyze, and resolve deficiencies in program support, developing and recommending corrective actions as necessary. The candidate may provide technical guidance to database administrators and software developers, requiring strong communication skills and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio. The role demands the ability to work independently on large projects while also collaborating with other DevSecOps engineers and program development teams.
