About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a high-energy DevSecOps Engineer to join the Cognitive Operations, Research and Technology for Experimental AI (CORTEX AI) group. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement software DevSecOps solutions for machine learning programs, addressing complex engineering challenges in the space sector.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with software architects, data scientists, AI/ML research engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and software engineers to accomplish the mission.
• Develop and implement software DevSecOps solutions using state-of-the-art tools and concepts.
• Collaborate within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team across various programs within the CORTEX group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
• Experience with Python, C++, and/or Java
• Experience with one or more DevSecOps processes and/or tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, CI/CD, Rancher, etc.)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or another cloud computing platform
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence.
