About the position

CACI seeks a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our EW-ISR group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. We're hiring engineers to establish multiple new agile teams, to perform cutting edge work - build a CI/CD pipeline to update vehicles' software in the middle of the ocean, submersed, or airborne. We are going to modernize and revolutionize Navy software delivery. We enable national security missions through creation and delivery of innovative, technology-centric solutions that provide decision advantage to our customers. CACI delivers industry leading Signals Intelligence exploitation and Electronic Warfare (SIGINT/EW) products that enable our nation's tactical warfighters to effectively utilize distributed grids of networked sensors, assets, and platforms to perform a variety of critical national security driven missions. We are seeking to grow our highly capable group with a talented, passionate individual who is excited about using and supporting state-of-the-art, user-centric technologies which profoundly impact the U.S. defense and intelligence communities. The successful candidate is an individual who is never satisfied with continuing with the status quo just because “it's the way things have always been done”. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with CACI, you will have the opportunity to foster a pattern of continuous improvement within our organization. Our DevSecOps engineers participate in the full lifecycle of software development, focused on the creation, quality, deployment and monitoring of software solutions. As a member of an agile development team, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of focus areas, such as cloud infrastructure, distributed systems design, container orchestration, test driven design and automation, release management, CI/CD pipeline automation, cross domain solutions, and automated deployment and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish multiple new agile teams for software development.
  • Build a CI/CD pipeline to update vehicles' software in various environments.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of software development.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and distributed systems design.
  • Implement container orchestration and test driven design.
  • Manage release processes and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Develop cross domain solutions and automated deployment strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent related work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in a DevSecOps role.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with OCI containers and runtimes.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills (OS, pipeline, networking, etc).
  • Experience with Container Orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Open Shift).
  • Solid understanding of storage, networking, PKI and administration.
  • Experience with Linux Administration including shell scripting, security, and networking.
  • Experience with an automation framework such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with a Cloud Service Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Passion for automation and continual learning.
  • Experience managing CI/CD toolchains.
  • Experience with git, branching patterns and general version control best practices.
  • Software development experience.
  • Strong background with Linux Systems (RedHat and CentOS).
  • Identity and Access Management (SAML, OIDC).
  • Infrastructure Automation (CloudFormation, Terraform).
