About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer at Azimuth Corporation will provide expert onsite support to the Springfield, VA area team, focusing on enhancing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the security and efficiency of software deployments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in cloud environments, automation tools, and strong communication skills to effectively manage and improve existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Recording status updates daily in designated GEOINT Services tooling as designated by the Product Owner
  • Attending weekly team standups and monthly briefings with team leadership
  • Sustaining and improving existing HARLEM, MIQ, CI/CD pipelines
  • Patching and adding features to HARLEM, MIQ App as designated by the Product Owner
  • Using existing UC2S CI/CD pipelines as a guide to implement similar configurations on other domains/environments as designated by the Product Owner

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree OR 8 years of experience and a MA/MS degree OR 5 years relevant experience and a PhD degree
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Experience submitting, monitoring, and ensuring completion of Size, Weight & Power requests
  • 2+ years with Authorization to Operate (ATO) certifications
  • 2+ years with System, architecture, network, and communication status checking through Command Line Interfaces (CLI)
  • 3+ years of experience with architecting and deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • 3+ years of Linux Admin experience
  • Experience with DevOps Tools and technologies including Git CLI, GITLAB, Threadfix, Ansible, and GITLAB/Jenkins pipelines
  • Experience administering and deploying with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux operating systems

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments
  • Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments
  • Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX)
  • Cloud Certification, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect
