About the position

DCCA is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in providing system administration support for cloud-based development environments and dedicated stand-alone systems as identified in the program architecture. This position requires a candidate with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, reflecting our commitment to security and integrity in our operations. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will interface with and help build full stack web applications utilizing CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cucumber, ensuring that our development processes are efficient and secure. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, and work with various software development lifecycle concepts including Agile, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD). You will also assist in defining and implementing configurations for commercial cloud-based development environments, perform unit-level software testing for assigned features, and support integration testing as applicable. Collaboration is key, as you will work in a cross-discipline environment with both internal and external customers to maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining training materials, supporting risk and opportunity assessments, and providing tasking and technical direction to junior engineers. Responsibilities

  • Provide system administration support for cloud-based development environments or dedicated stand-alone systems identified in the program architecture.
  • Interface with and help build full stack web applications using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cucumber.
  • Be proficient in C++ and Python.
  • Work with software development lifecycle concepts: Agile, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
  • Assist in the definition and implementation of commercial cloud-based development environment configurations.
  • Perform unit-level software testing for all assigned features and support integration testing as applicable to those features.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's of Science degree is preferred.
  • Security+ certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) concepts.

Nice-to-haves
