About the position

The DevSecOps Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton is responsible for leading systems and network administration teams in delivering digital solutions. This role involves designing and deploying Cross Domain Solutions while continuously improving infrastructure using the latest technologies. The position emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and collaboration to enhance network performance and meet customer needs in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems administration and network administration teams on systems delivery or digital solutions projects.
• Design and deploy industry-leading Cross Domain Solutions.
• Monitor network performance and provide insights to customers.
• Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in the network.
• Mentor and lead team members to develop new methodologies and overcome challenges.
• Modernize network infrastructure to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with systems administration or solutions architecture.
• Experience leading DevSecOps teams.
• Experience on a systems delivery or digital solutions project.
• Experience with Linux Systems Administration (RHEL 7 or RHEL 9).
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Compliance Certification within 60 days of start date.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (Forcepoint High-Speed Guards, OWL Diodes, Radiant Mercury, ISSE Guards).
• Experience with network security components (firewalls, switches, VPNs).
• Experience in data flow engineering or operations.
• Experience with VMWare ESXi, vSphere, or vRealize Operations.
• Experience creating tailored Linux Operating systems through Kickstart or PXE.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies (Chef, Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack).
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Compliance Certification.
