About the position

As the DevSecOps Manager at Seakeeper, you will play a crucial role in enhancing application development security across all business segments. Your primary focus will be on integrating security into the development process, fostering a security-aware culture, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with security standards. This position involves leading a team of DevOps professionals, developing secure CI/CD pipelines, and implementing security technologies to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. You will also be responsible for code reviews, threat modeling, and creating efficiency toolkits to streamline development while maintaining security.

Responsibilities

• Build a security-aware culture by integrating security testing into the development process.
• Review code and security posture, communicating cross-functionally to meet timelines and drive security standards.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and build a team of DevOps professionals.
• Develop, communicate, and implement secure cloud CI/CD pipelines and compliance metrics (OWASP).
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with the Embedded Software and Systems Development team on key DevOps initiatives.
• Own code repository platforms and ensure platform security.
• Implement security technologies to identify, assess, and remediate application and code vulnerabilities (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST).
• Develop threat modeling metrics aligned with current IT Security platforms.
• Implement a service maturity model.
• Architect and manage CaaS or IaaS for code development and testing.
• Conduct extensive code reviews and analysis.
• Write reports on code analysis to ensure adherence to industry standards and secure coding best practices.
• Create efficiency toolkits to enable faster technology implementation while maintaining security and reducing deployment time.
• Articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
• Leverage Agile Framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Systems.
• 7+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role.
• Experience leading a team of direct reports.
• Proficiency with various DevOps tools and automation, strong experience with Linux administration, containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with build pipelines on embedded technology.
• Atlassian administration experience (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence).
• Git experience.
• Artifact management experience.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with automation technologies (Jenkins, Terraform, Helm).
