About the position

As the DevSecOps Manager at Seakeeper, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security of application development across all business segments. This position focuses on integrating security into the development process, fostering a security-aware culture, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with security standards. You will lead a team of DevOps professionals, develop secure CI/CD pipelines, and implement security technologies to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, all while participating in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Build a security-aware culture by integrating security testing into the development process.
  • Review code and security posture, communicating with teams to meet timelines and drive security standards.
  • Hire, mentor, and coach a team of DevOps professionals.
  • Develop and implement secure cloud CI/CD pipelines and compliance metrics (OWASP).
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with the Embedded Software and Systems Development team on DevOps initiatives.
  • Manage code repository platforms and ensure platform security.
  • Implement security technologies to identify and remediate application vulnerabilities.
  • Develop threat modeling metrics aligned with IT Security platforms.
  • Architect and manage CaaS or IaaS for code development and testing.
  • Conduct extensive code reviews and provide analysis on secure coding practices.
  • Create efficiency toolkits for engineers to implement technologies securely and quickly.
  • Translate business needs into technology solutions using Agile Framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Systems.
  • 7+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role.
  • Experience leading a team of direct reports.
  • Proficiency with various DevOps tools and automation technologies.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration, containerization, and microservices architecture.
  • Extensive experience with build pipelines on embedded technology.
  • Atlassian administration experience (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence).
  • Git experience and artifact management experience.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with automation technologies (Jenkins, Terraform, Helm).
