About the position

The DevSecOps Manager at Global Payments is responsible for leading specialized areas within information security, including Security Engineering, Security Architecture, and Threat Analysis. This role involves managing the development and execution of enterprise security controls, monitoring system vulnerabilities, and coordinating responses to security incidents. The manager will also provide guidance to business decision-makers regarding risk exposure and security breaches, ensuring the protection of critical data and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and leads specialized areas within information security such as Security Engineering and Threat Analysis.
  • Manages the development, deployment, and execution of enterprise security controls and defenses.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and exploits system vulnerabilities to detect potential threats.
  • Executes containment, mitigation, and protection processes against real-time threats.
  • Determines risk and exposure from security breaches and resolves incidents while advising business decision-makers.
  • Tracks and supports the delivery of information security solutions.
  • Manages the tactical activities of installing and configuring security systems and applications.
  • Coordinates responses to intrusions and provides remediation guidance.
  • Coordinates resources on complex development projects, including approval of design specifications.
  • Disseminates updates to InfoSec Architectural policies and standards to team members.
  • Reviews forensic investigations and analyzes reported cyber incidents to evaluate root causes.
  • Implements countermeasures to recover lost user data.
  • Coordinates research and analysis of threat actor profiles to detect potential threats.
  • Implements security tools to identify, monitor, and mitigate attacks.
  • Coordinates with external security organizations to exchange threat intelligence.
  • Manages execution of penetration testing activities on core systems and articulates outcomes.
  • Recommends remediation techniques to protect security frameworks and controls.
  • Supports the evaluation and selection of security applications and systems.
  • Manages development, deployment, and support activities for critical security technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or Computer Science (preferred) or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI-QSA, PA-QSA, PCIP, CRISC, CGEIT, CFCE, or CCTA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in the Global Payments, payment, or technology industry.
  • Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited university.
