About the position

As a DevSecOps Principal Consultant at Capco, you will leverage your extensive experience in DevSecOps to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies that enhance automation, operational soundness, and alignment with industry best practices. This role involves engaging with senior stakeholders, mentoring client teams, and conducting thorough assessments of existing processes to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy, focusing on automation and operational soundness.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing updates and facilitating review sessions.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to client teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the client's existing DevSecOps processes and prepare a detailed findings report.
  • Define the future state for People, Process, and Technology in line with DevSecOps principles.
  • Develop and oversee a multi-year, phased implementation roadmap to achieve the target state.
  • Establish and define the mission and responsibilities of a DevSecOps Center of Excellence (COE).
  • Identify high-impact quick wins and guide the implementation of strategic tooling.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevSecOps, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Deep knowledge of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-year, multi-phased projects with a focus on delivery acceleration.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., DevOps, SRE, CISSP, CISM, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
