ASRC Federal (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Senior (Cloud Engineer Senior) to support our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel required to the customer site. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our IT infrastructure and software capabilities, ensuring seamless operations and robust support for the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) personnel worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Cloud Engineering and DevSecOps efforts under ASRC Federal's CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP is dedicated to ensuring that the U.S. Army's cloud environments are secure, scalable, and efficient. As a DevSecOps Senior, you will implement, advise, and train on automation and integration activities across cloud and DevSecOps workflows, contributing to the overall mission of the organization. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining and advancing our cloud environments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and efficiency. The position requires a strong background in AWS Cloud administration, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in this area. You will be expected to manage EC2 servers, AMIs, and backups, as well as configure and monitor AWS CloudWatch for resource metrics, logs, and alarms. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of AWS Security Hub for centralized security findings and compliance checks, and experience with AWS Backup for automated backups and retention policies. Your role will also involve working with AWS Systems Manager for patch management, automation, and compliance, ensuring that our cloud environments are not only functional but also secure and compliant with industry standards.
