About the position

At the dawn of a new space age, Lockheed Martin is a pioneer, partner, innovator, and builder. Our amazing people are on a mission to make a difference in the world, and every single day we use our skills and experiences to create, design, and build solutions to some of the world's hardest engineering problems. Our culture encourages employees to dream big, perform with excellence, and create incredible products. We provide the resources, inspiration, and focus. If you have the passion and courage to dream big, we want to build a better tomorrow with you. This role is a DevSecOps position focused on the development of modern pipelines to support our Mission Processing software teams. You will work with engineers, developers, and scientists across the Mission Processing team to deliver new capabilities and support their current needs. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day user support of multiple development environments and collaborating with senior engineers to design the DevSecOps architecture. A significant component of this position involves GitLab pipeline creation and improvement, offering candidates the opportunity to grow their scripting and programming skills. This will include working with multiple container run-times to deploy applications across the environment. You will partner with multiple development teams to help ensure their CI/CD Pipelines can fully leverage the infrastructure. This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above. No clearance is required prior to start, but candidates must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
