About the position

As a DevSecOps SIEM Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be a key technical expert within the SIEM Engineering team, focusing on security monitoring and remediation. Your role will involve managing and enhancing SIEM solutions like Chronicle and Sentinel, deploying new features, and ensuring compliance with security policies. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility between in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, implement & support SIEM platforms (Chronicle and Sentinel)
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform
  • Develop and maintain IaC scripts and templates to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources and SIEM configurations
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new cloud technologies and best practices to optimize infrastructure performance and cost

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in IT required, with a focus on cloud security and SIEM solutions
  • In-depth in managing and deploying cloud infrastructure through Terraform
  • Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms and securing cloud-based applications and services
  • Sentinel or Chronicle SIEM experience
  • Strong experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment or development pipelines, and automation tools

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Relevant cloud certifications: AZ-400, AZ-500, SC-200, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer GCP, Terraform Associate
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Git version control, including advanced repository management and GitHub Actions workflow configuration and familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and passionate about cyber security and the aptitude to identify and solve security problems
