About the position

The DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) position at Mount Indie, LLC is a critical role within the Engineering team, focusing on supporting the C4I DevSecOps Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position is designed for mid- to senior-level professionals who will leverage their expertise to drive software modernization and secure DevSecOps practices in Department of Defense (DoD) environments, ensuring mission success through the development of secure and modernized software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review and offer expert feedback on DevSecOps (DSO) deliverables, including reports, presentations, technical drawings, and data requests.
• Participate actively in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to support Navy clients and update them on DSO architecture and related status data calls.
• Contribute to key DSO documentation, including metrics, design concepts, and modernization strategies.
• Draft white papers and thought pieces on emerging DevSecOps topics relevant to DoD needs.
• Join DSO meetings and offer insights, advice, and recommendations.
• Work to build a trusted advisor relationship with the C4I DSO IPT team, contributing meaningfully to project discussions and decisions.

Requirements

• Mid- to senior-level background in DevSecOps, cloud architecture, and/or related fields within DoD environments.
• Understanding (or eagerness to learn) of various DSO and cloud architectures used by DoD agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Active Secret-level clearance required.
