About the position

Pyramid Systems is seeking a proven DevSecOps Solutions Architect Lead to enhance our DevSecOps capabilities and support our client portfolio, including key customers. This role is pivotal in driving the architecture and design of our engineering projects, particularly those that require advanced technologies such as AI/ML and DevSecOps. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in deploying production enterprise applications in AWS, specifically those utilizing AI/ML, to lead our DevSecOps initiatives. As the DevSecOps Lead Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployments. Your wealth of solution architecture experience in complex heterogeneous environments within AWS will be crucial in ensuring the success of these projects. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, presenting solutions to both customers and program teams, thereby ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. This position requires a strong foundation in architecture and design, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Information Technology field, focusing on AI/ML engineering projects and technical architecture. You will be instrumental in guiding teams through best practices in automation, containerization, and serverless approaches, ensuring that our solutions are not only effective but also innovative and secure.

Responsibilities

• Perform as our DevSecOps Lead Architect in support of key engineering projects requiring AI/ML, DevSecOps and specific technical architectures.
• Bring proven architecture & design experience to the company and our clients, including at least 3 years experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS that use AI/ML.
• Lead large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployments and provide solution architecture experience in complex heterogeneous environments in AWS.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass and successfully maintain a public trust clearance.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Information Technology field, focusing on AI/ML engineering projects, DevSecOps and technical architecture.
• Strong architecture & design experience, including at least 3 years' experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS that use AI/ML.
• Experience in large scale, high performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in AWS.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Experience presenting solutions to all levels of organization (customers and program team).
• Experience with technologies such as Jenkins, Harness, Kafka or Kinesis, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Helm, SonarQube, Twistlock, Apigee, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, PostgreSQL.
• Strong capabilities in automation of build, integration, and testing.
• Experience guiding teams using naming and coding conventions, containerization, and serverless approaches.
• Experience working on a Federal IT contract.
