Peraton is seeking a DevSecOps Specialist to join our team, located onsite in Kansas City, Missouri, with potential consideration for positions in Quantico MCB, VA, or Camp Lejeune, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions that are critical to our national security missions. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to create specifications for new cloud-based products, services, applications, and solutions. Your expertise will drive the rollout of cloud management platforms, where you will evaluate performance and implement necessary enhancements to ensure optimal functionality. As a DevSecOps Specialist, you will also be tasked with developing and enriching our product portfolio of cloud services and value-added services. This includes creating solution recommendations that encompass a Basis of Estimate for cloud services, as well as evaluating the cost/benefit of various deployment options, including cloud, virtual private networks, dedicated hosting, and in-house solutions. You will perform operations and maintenance of secure managed cloud platform solutions, implementing and maintaining automation to enhance operations, alerting, and auto-remediation of events. Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and deploy infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that our cloud solutions are robust and secure.
