About the position

The DevSecOps Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in identifying and planning new capabilities to enhance mission operations. This position requires expertise in digital engineering, including modeling, strategic planning, system integration, and user-centric design, to ensure effective implementation of DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in applying DevSecOps concepts, processes, and tools to support mission operations.
  • Analyze user needs and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements and test-driven development.
  • Define CI/CD delivery standards and conventions to ensure quality and compliance with security measures.
  • Guide the configuration of CI/CD pipeline setup and resolve technical complexities for integration of DevSecOps practices.
  • Recommend and implement automated solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Build relationships with developers and stakeholders to incorporate security principles into engineering design.
  • Define maturity models to measure and accelerate DevSecOps adoption across teams.
  • Identify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide technical support to government points of contact.
  • Develop briefings for various audiences on system engineering concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and nine years of experience; or a Master's degree with seven years; or a PhD/JD with four years of experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • 4+ years of experience with DevSecOps and tools.
  • 2+ years' experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience with systems development methodologies such as Agile and DevSecOps.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with CONOPS requirements development and technical specification review.
  • Program lifecycle experience from concept development to deployment and maintenance.
  • Ability to provide technical direction on digital engineering concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools.
