The DevSecOps Engineer position at Associates Systems LLC is a critical role that supports the overarching design of the program platform, focusing primarily on the operating system and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) stack. The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration and management of a private cloud environment utilizing VMware, as well as the operation of server hardware and operating systems. In this position, the engineer will also support the hardware infrastructure, which includes compute servers, storage solutions, and network configurations. The engineer will be expected to communicate any risks or issues related to system performance, availability, or security effectively. A process-oriented approach is crucial, as the engineer will work collaboratively with the team to implement fixes while ensuring that all changes adhere to the project's change management processes. The role may require on-call support and occasional overtime, emphasizing the need for flexibility and commitment to the team's success.
