Responsibilities

• Designs and develops/implements systems/services ensuring high system availability and maximizing usage of IT resources.
• Ensures timely delivery of new capabilities.
• Contributes to the creation of solution development/implementation recommendations.
• Prepares appropriate documentation and considers solution impacts across the IT production environment.
• Insures appropriate Design Review Board approval for solutions.
• Develops processes for monitoring performance and problem determination of developed systems or services.
• Monitors progress of projects and reports status to management.
• Provides guidance and assistance to other IT staff members in the usage of systems for which he/she has responsibility.
• Mentors new developers and oversees development efforts of lower-level teammates.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related experience.
• 2+ years' experience in system design and development, including use of Python, GoLang, BASH scripting, and other programming languages.
• Knowledge of Docker, Microservices, and Containerization is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• A strong desire to learn and be curiosity-driven.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with open-source tooling.
• Familiarity with PCI adherence standards.
