About the position

The Developer Experience Engineer role at Insight Global focuses on enhancing the developer experience by automating processes, developing integrated solutions, and maintaining cloud deployment and reporting platforms. The position requires a seasoned DevOps engineer who can work collaboratively with various teams to streamline workflows and improve productivity, delivery speed, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Automate delivery processes and maintain CI/CD platforms.
• Orchestrate automated tests to reduce manual effort and improve product quality.
• Identify and resolve issues and inefficiencies in delivery workflows.
• Develop integrated solutions that serve engineering, data, or business-facing teams.
• Enhance the overall developer experience at Nike.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience coding and scripting using languages like Python and JavaScript.
• Understanding of serverless architectures and CI/CD.
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in source code management using GitHub.
• Build automation skills with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems.
• Strong working knowledge of containerization with Kubernetes.
• Experience working on a Platform as a Service (PaaS) team.
