About the position

The Salesforce Developer I position at the Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) is a full-time remote role focused on enhancing digital services for Colorado residents. The developer will engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), primarily concentrating on development activities, collaborating with business analysts and customers to understand requirements, and applying secure programming techniques. The role includes unit testing, configuration management, source code control, deployment, and providing support services, contributing to enterprise data tools and API development.

Responsibilities

  • Software development using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Collaboration to create estimates and timelines.
  • Coding and managing configurations for COTS applications.
  • Minimizing defects with a disciplined testing approach.
  • Implementation of break/fix solutions and updating documentation accordingly.
  • Resolving issues in the development process with unique problem solving.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Software Development experience or 1 year of enterprise software platform administration experience.

Nice-to-haves
