About the position

The Developer - Java/Camunda/BPM role at Kforce involves engaging with business partners to understand workflow needs and transforming those requirements into automated business processes. The position requires facilitating process design sessions, analyzing business processes, and designing user interfaces to support BPM models, particularly within Fidelity's Workplace Investing Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business partners to understand workflow needs and transform those requirements into automated business processes.
• Facilitate process design sessions, analyze business processes, and document current and future states.
• Design and build UIs using form.io to represent user tasks in a workflow, connectors, APIs, and other software modules to support the BPM model.
• Deliver an optimized operational environment for key functions in Fidelity's Workplace Investing Business Unit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable experience.
• 4-6 years of proven programming background in Java or Groovy, with hands-on experience in building web services, RESTful APIs, Spring, etc.; knowledge of AWS is desired.
• 3-5 years of proven JavaScript experience and building user interfaces; exposure to form.io is desired.
• Solid grasp of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented Design principles.
• Knowledge or exposure to implementing BPM solutions using top BPM products, preferably Camunda.
• Experience in business process improvement or re-engineering projects, working closely with business and operations teams.
• Ability to collaborate with Business Analysts and Design leads to implement robust automation solutions.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology.
• Experience with financial services in an operations or technology role is a plus.
