About the position

Join the Apple Developer Product Marketing team to help the developer community bring their innovative ideas to life through their apps and games. We're looking for an experienced and highly-motivated product marketing manager to create outstanding developer-facing content and communications across multiple channels for our global developer community. Our work spans the Apple Developer Program, product launches, new technologies, the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), and much more. You are passionate about helping developers create innovative, well-designed, and powerful products. You have experience working in digital content production and collaborating with both creative and technical teams. You should be well versed in driving high-visibility, large-scale projects and working within a large, cross-functional team. Most importantly, you are passionate about the Apple developer community and excited to help developers learn. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys deconstructing detailed concepts into excellent and easy-to-understand material. We're especially interested in people who enjoy writing and creating for multiple mediums and channels. We are a global organization, your ability to work across teams and communication platforms is a must. Make clear recommendations that improve the developer experience - and see them through. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and editing, collaboration and brainstorming sessions, continuous education on the latest technology and design frameworks, coordinating with production teams, collaborating with partners across Apple, and developing relationships with third-party developers. We value collaboration and attention to detail and are looking for candidates who can be resourceful, adaptable, and creative with high energy and positivity.

Responsibilities

  • Create outstanding developer-facing content and communications across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with various teams across Apple to bring ideas to life.
  • Measure and report on the success of content and channels, introducing new approaches as needed.
  • Strengthen and build community within a global, diverse workforce.
  • Make clear recommendations to improve the developer experience and implement them.
  • Engage in writing and editing, collaboration, and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in product marketing or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, editorial writing, computer science, or related field preferred.
  • Superior writing and storytelling capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in building consensus and driving collaboration.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Ability to drive multiple priorities simultaneously on deadline.
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to create clear processes while maintaining flexibility for change.
