About the position

The Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 role is a remote contract position focused on planning, developing, testing, and documenting computer programs. The position requires advanced skills in Identity Access Management (IAM) and LDAP administration, with responsibilities that include coordinating user requirements, automating processes, and ensuring best practices in system design and deployment. The role demands strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work independently and lead projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs.
  • Evaluates user requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and compatibility with current systems.
  • Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
  • Formulates plans outlining steps required to develop programs using structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.
  • Performs advanced computer systems analysis work, coordinating planning, budgeting, and analysis of user requirements.
  • Works with business partners to automate processing or improve existing systems.
  • Implements management and automation of processing or improvement of existing systems.
  • May plan, assign, and/or manage the work of others.
  • Performs business use case analysis and recommends solutions with Okta.
  • Conducts hands-on technical design, configuration, development, integrations, and troubleshooting of IAM/Okta solutions.
  • Automates Okta solution deployments to deliver high-quality software.
  • Implements user onboarding and offboarding automation with seamless communication between directories and applications.
  • Documents data flow and deployment architecture diagrams for Okta integrations.
  • Works closely with technical and non-technical teams to ensure best practices are applied.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in programming and systems analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Identity Access Management (IAM) and LDAP administration.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
