R+L Carriers is seeking a skilled Developer to join their Information Technology Department, focusing on E-Commerce and Native App Development. The role involves creating and maintaining enterprise software applications that support the company's leadership in the transportation and logistics industry. Successful candidates will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop user information solutions that enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes based on project requirements.
• Build custom Shopify apps and features to optimize eCommerce functionality.
• Maintain and enhance existing Shopify stores, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive, visually appealing, and optimized Shopify stores.
• Integrate third-party and homegrown APIs and services with Shopify to extend store capabilities.
• Debug and troubleshoot Shopify-related issues (both frontend and backend).
• Develop, test, and deploy native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Build custom mobile app functionalities like product browsing, checkout, and account management.
• Ensure that mobile applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate server-side logic with mobile applications.

Requirements

• 3+ Years' experience with PHP, PHP Laravel, MySQL
• 2+ Years' experience in e-commerce development skills
• 2+ Years' experience in mobile app development both for Android and iOS
• Excellent understanding of B2B and B2C business functionality required
• 2+ years of experience working with Shopify, WooCommerce, ability to develop Shopify apps, WordPress plug ins
• Knowledge of other major e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Wix etc.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP API
• Experience with GIT version control
• Experience with external hosting such as Fly.IO, Heroku
• Experience using Xamarin and other native app development tools
