About the position
The Development Assistant will support the Development team at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, by providing administrative assistance and helping with fundraising activities. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the department and involves working closely with the Director of Development and senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the Director of Development and senior Development team.
- Assist the Development team with fundraising activities and visits.
- Develop and implement administrative processes and projects to improve departmental efficiency.
- Organize team meetings and maintain schedules.
Requirements
- Administrative experience, preferably in a fundraising environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
