About the position

The Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the Property Development group to effectively develop, review, and schedule vendor start-up for each project across the portfolio. This role will require someone very diligent in communication, organization, and multi-tasking. We start-up equipment on multiple projects across the portfolio monthly and often weekly, this individual must be able to continually plan for future projects, while fully engaging every project going through start-up to confirm vendors are appropriately planned and staffed for projects.

Responsibilities

  • Request and Track Purchase Orders for OFCI Vendor Start-Up and Vendor support for all projects to ensure consistent quality and cost control.
  • Communicate with Development Team to continually review Project Start-Up and support schedule dates in collaboration with Vendor dates.
  • Work with Project Team to review Cx Agent ensuring correct scope of work that aligns with current QTS Development Commissioning Start-Up and support needs.
  • Work with QTS Equipment Vendors to confirm required support for all projects portfolio wide.
  • Work with Project Teams to review start-up schedules to ensure detail level and future forecasting is sufficient to communicate Equipment Vendor requirements in advance to allow sufficient project support and success.
  • Provide support to Development Project Team members that are guiding the start-up process at site level.
  • Create and communicate updates on vendor start-up and support, project monthly status updates, reports for executive level review. Effectively present information in a manner to support efficient decision making.
  • Own Vendor Start-Up and support Lessons Learned document.
  • Work with Project Teams to schedule and lead timely Post Vendor Start-up meetings.
  • Collect and share examples of Best Practices with Project Teams to promote continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with QTS OFCI vendors to aid in further development of startup and vendor support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant construction and/or coordinator experience.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for use in communicating program updates, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skill set with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Self-motivated and efficient in a high paced environment.
  • Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • One or more years of experience working in scheduling and sequencing of equipment or maintenance.
  • Experience with delivery of mission critical data center facilities.
  • Working knowledge within Smartsheet.
  • PowerBi knowledge.
