About the position

The Development Coordinator at Catalyze plays a crucial role in managing construction-related subcontract and services engagements, ensuring effective project execution within the renewable energy sector. This position is integral to building a scalable procurement infrastructure and supports the company's mission to accelerate the transition to clean energy by overseeing project development processes and maintaining communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact on the development status of all projects.
• Maintain a log of all projects, their status, and the parties responsible for ‘next steps'.
• Track the progress to ensure that project tasks are completed on time.
• Escalate issues, either risks to the timeline or new tasks identified, to management for quick resolution.
• Manage all ‘development' documentation associated with the project, ensuring documents are reviewed and uploaded to the correct folders.
• Ensure all key milestone dates are up to date in the development management system.
• Act as the ‘development lead' for all projects related to process improvement or introduction of new tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management, or Engineering; or 2+ years of relevant experience in the Solar industry.
• Renewable energy industry experience preferred.
• Experience working on multiple high-value projects while prioritizing effectively, managing competing expectations, and meeting deadlines.
• Impeccable attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with SalesForce, Slack, GSuite, Procore, and Sage ERP is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of the State where you reside.
• Ability and willingness to pass background checks.
