About The Position

Nickelodeon Animation Studio is seeking a Summer 2024 Development and Current Series Intern for the Big Kids department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with the development and current series team, providing hands-on experience in animation development and series management. Interns will participate in various tasks including script coverage, attending meetings, and contributing to team projects, all aimed at preparing them for a future career in the animation industry.

Requirements

• Passion for Animation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Strong reading comprehension
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Familiarity with Airtable is a plus

Responsibilities

• Read and review submissions/scripts/books/writing samples, pitches, providing coverage, tracking and logging all department materials
• Attend department meetings and take notes
• Maintain databases (Pitch Grid, Talent Tracker, Artist Tracker)
• Shadow creative projects in various stages of development
• Learn office administration tasks which include calendaring, file creation and management
• Provide research for projects in development or consideration
