The Development Database (RE) Manager will be responsible for the overall administration and management of the Raiser's Edge database to ensure the accuracy and integrity of donor information. This role supports the Development team by implementing consistent and best data practices, and providing strategic insights based on data analysis. The Development Database (RE) Manager reports to the Associate Director of Individual and Planned Giving. In this position, the manager will maintain the Raiser's Edge system, ensuring that data related to donors and donor prospects is of the highest integrity. This includes updating addresses, constituency codes, relationships, duplicates, deceased or inactive constituents, bad addresses, and donor solicitation preferences. The manager will also oversee the process of importing, upserting, and de-duping contacts, ticketing data, and transactions from MS Dynamics on a monthly basis or as needed. The role requires creating and generating standard and custom reports and queries to support the Development Team and Senior Management, including imports, exports, and lists for mailings, invitations, and moves management. Additionally, the manager will create and manage donor tracking systems, integrating prospect research and narratives on fundraising activity. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to ensure accurate acknowledgment letters and tax receipts, track budgets and expenditures, audit requests, and perform month-end and year-end reconciliation. Analyzing donor data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for fundraising efforts is a key responsibility. The manager will also work with Marketing to create donation pages for the website as needed and provide support and training to staff members for the accurate and appropriate use of Raiser's Edge/NXT. Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance database functionality is also part of the role, along with managing the quarterly NCOA process in compliance with USPS non-profit postage regulations. Confidentiality of all data relating to OSL, donors, and prospects must be maintained, and the manager may perform other related duties as assigned.
