Aeroflow Health is seeking a Development DBA to join our Data Operations team, which consists of a dedicated group of data professionals. This role is crucial in protecting, enhancing, and optimizing our SQL Server database systems. As a Development DBA, you will collaborate with SQL Engineers, technical leads, and QA specialists to facilitate the creation of quality data products for our internal customers. Your expertise in T-SQL will be instrumental in improving the scalability of Aeroflow's key data tools and assets. In this position, you will be responsible for optimizing our SQL environment, driving best practices in database and query design, and troubleshooting performance issues. You will ensure that our database systems operate effectively and securely on a daily basis. The role requires a strong knowledge of database design principles, proficiency in SQL database performance tuning, and experience with SQL Server native tools for performance monitoring and query optimization. You will also be tasked with documenting technical architecture and solutions, solving database usage issues, and liaising with developers to enhance applications and establish best practices. Additionally, you will research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols to keep our systems up to date and efficient.
