Akkodis is seeking a Development Engineer for a 12+ month temporary role onsite in Dublin, OH. This position is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in automotive systems with a global leader in the industry. The role involves supporting customer events, conducting driving tests, and managing software updates, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support at customer events
• Conduct driving tests and collect log data
• Perform issue analysis and reproduce problems for resolution
• Confirm improvements to reported issues
• Manage software updates and deployments
• Oversee sample delivery and recovery
• Prepare and submit weekly reports
• Participate in customer and internal meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
• 1+ Years related experience
• Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies
• Ability to work late/early hours for meetings with international contacts
• Ability to lift/carry benches weighing up to 25lbs to setup workstation
• Ability to interact with display/center controller/steering wheel while stationary testing
