About the position

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coaches the software engineering team, 3D design team, and quality assurance team.
  • Creates, scopes, and plans high-end interactive 3D web experiences.
  • Develops innovative and creative solutions to sophisticated technological problems.
  • Responsible for software architecture and design choices for system-level applications.
  • Defines the functional software behavior of the system and optimal infrastructure for development.
  • Collaborates with the product team to balance market requirements and technical specifications.
  • Leads software technical reviews and mentors junior engineers.
  • Coordinates team meetings to solve technical issues efficiently.
  • Defines software integration and test strategies in an automated environment.
  • Evaluates and coaches on software design and development techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience as a software developer or software engineer.
  • Proficient in frameworks such as Babylon.js or three.js.
  • Proficient in OpenGL, ES, or WebGL.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP.
  • Experience developing intranet, web pages, or apps with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling tools like Unity, Unreal, Autodesk Maya/Max.
  • Strong understanding of image optimization.
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of UX/UI standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
