About the position

The Development Operations Coordinator (DevOps) at Feeding America, Kentucky's Heartland (FAKH) plays a crucial role in managing the Development team's Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) database system and overseeing all Development operations systems. This position ensures best practices in data management, facilitates training on these tools, and provides strategic oversight of donor data to support fundraising initiatives. The DevOps serves as a liaison between the Development and Finance teams, ensuring the integrity and completeness of donor data critical for advancement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Development team's CRM database system.
• Manage all Development operations systems, including payment processing platforms.
• Facilitate training on data management tools as necessary.
• Oversee timely gift processing, data entry, and acknowledgment of charitable gifts.
• Work with the CRM system administrator to manage licenses and establish user permissions.
• Maintain interface with FAKH's online giving platform and external giving sites.
• Independently perform regular database maintenance and data hygiene tasks.
• Create and maintain donor attributes, flags, and tracking codes for gifts and campaigns.
• Write complex reports and queries for fundraising data analysis.
• Reconcile donation details with the Finance department monthly.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant training or work experience required.
• Experience in CRM and database management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
